World Christianity Interest Group

The World Christianity Interest Group (WCIG) of the American Theological Library Association has established this website to facilitate the acquisition and description of documentation of World Christianity by ATLA libraries. "World Christianity" is defined here to mean Christianity outside the United States and Canada. It can also include Christian groups in the United States and Canada whose participants worship or otherwise express their faith in languages other than English.

Goals of this website

 

1. Document what is currently being done by ATLA libraries to collect materials related to World Christianity and exchange information about future collection development plans.
2. Share information about ways to collect and process World Christian materials; maintain a list of vendors and other sources for acquiring World Christian materials.
3. Promote the use of World Christianity documentation by students and faculty at ATS institutions and other libraries and institutions.
